In January 2021, I performed as a featured dancer in the official music video for the song “Bhul” by Bangladeshi singer-songwriter Arnab Antu. The video was shot over two days in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, and released publicly on YouTube on February 17, 2021.
The project was a dance-based interpretation of the song’s emotional narrative. I was invited personally by the artist to choreograph and perform alongside my dance partner after he had seen our earlier work. He expressed that our performance style aligned well with the mood and message of the song, and requested our appearance as the lead dancers in the video.
Though my name appears in the video’s description with a slight spelling error (“Mati” instead of “Maati”), I am clearly and visibly performing in the video, which received positive public reception and online engagement.
